ORIGIN and TRUE MEANINGS

In the movie, ?Avatar The Way of Water?, Tulkuns are hunted to extract the so called yellow fluid from their brains called ?Amrita?, which is believed to stop human ageing completely.
It is quite interesting to see how much James Cameroon is influenced by Hindu myths. Not only did he take the term ?Avatar? for the movies, he has brought in ?Amrita? as well to which he gave the same exact meaning as to what it actually is.
Talking about ?Avatar? (Sanskrit term), Avatars as per Hinduism are the 10 Avatars (incarnations) of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu takes each appearance to come to Earth to annihilate evil and save the world. The 10th Avatar is yet to come and is called Kalki.
Also, in Hinduism, Amrita (Sanskrit term) is the drink of devas (gods). It is an elixir/nectar that grants immortality. As per Hindu myths, the gods and demons fight for this nectar.
